Faith is a topic that came up recently in our communication, which lately has been through commenting on phenomenal facebook photos that Janna posts. I have a deep faith in God but find it challenging to explain it. Partly it is due to my background. I grew up in a faith filled home where actions mattered more than words. So we didn't talk about God very much, nor why we believed in God, scripture, etc. We went to church, we prayed at meals and sometimes in times of crisis, and we tried to live in a way that was pleasing to God out of love, but not out of duty or a price to pay to get into heaven. This is a link that articulates faith in a way that I like.
