Communicating

The video chat is wonderful for visiting with Janna overseas. We see each other and talk. I need to take notes so that when we are able to talk I can have stories and questions at hand. Seeing each other on screen is a little comical because there is a smaller screen within the big screen that has a picture of me on my computer or Janna on her computer. It is tempting to look at yourself rather than the person that you are speaking to because of the novelty of seeing yourself on screen. You can delete the small screen of yourself in order to keep from being distracted. So far our video chats have been in Janna's two person dorm room, so she doesn't have privacy. She'll have her own room starting tomorrow and get to have more privacy for video chatting if she would like.
